The Shotgun Ammo is a miscellaneous item featured in Dead Island. It is used as an ammunition for shotguns. One small shotgun ammo box contains ten bullets. They can be bought from vendors, looted from killed human enemies, or crafted using the Shotgun Ammo recipe.
