Nick was a survivor featured in Dead Island. He was part of the group barricaded inside the laboratory, led by Dr. Robert West. He, along with John, volunteered to test a cure for the Kuru virus, and were locked inside the stockroom. Unfortunately, the area became so overrun that nobody was able to check on them.

During the side quest "Rotting Flesh," the Hero must travel to the stockroom and collect tissue samples from the two. Sadly, both have turned into zombies and the Hero must kill them. After they're both dead, the Hero collects the tissue samples and brings them back to the scientist.
