McCall's 9mm is a variant of the Pistol and a Legendary Weapon featured in Dead Island, rarely available from Metal chests or killed Zombies.
Overview[]
As a legendary pistol, the McCall's 9mm is essentially it but better, like all legendary weapons. It deals higher per-bullet damage than a regular pistol, with far greater accuracy, allow you to snipe away at zombies quite reliably. It also has a decently fast rate of fire, like a pistol, and a similar reload speed. Whilst not the highest of damage weapons to kill high heath enemies like Thugs, it is a good weapon of choice for especially Floaters, where its higher damage than a regular pistol will serve well to kill Floaters quite easily. Pistol Ammo can be acquired quite easily in Moresby so using the McCall's as a supplementary weapon is not a bad idea, and it's especially good at killing Infected or Walkers who get in the way!

- Like any firearm, Purna Jackson is the best character to use the McCall's 9mm with, as she get various bonuses from her skills for firearms.
Trivia[]
- The name "McCall" refers to Techland's other game franchise, Call of Juarez, and more specifically to Ben McCall, one of Call of Juarez: The Cartel's protagonists, who is often seen wielding a Beretta 92FS (albeit the one in CoJ:TC is two tone black and gray, not silver).
- The Model for the McCalls seems to be a Beretta 92fs or M1911 Colt.
