In Dead Island, the mod is found when returning to the Town Hall during the main quest Bitter Return. The mod is found in Todd Tanis' office. In Dead Island: Riptide, it is given by Henry Boyle for completing the second level of his Team Quest, Jury-rigging for Henry.
