Laura is a mentioned survivor featured in Dead Island. John Sinamoi mentions her by radio in Saint Christopher's Church once the quest "Drowned Hope" has been activated.

It is said that she has pneumonia which succumbs her to death. She was an orphan who was rescued and brought to the tower after the Hero leaves for Moresby to gather food and supplies.

Sinamoi explains that she had hid in the water all night long after her own parents tried to kill her. She has fallen ill and has a fever of 104 degrees and as a result, is going delirious, believing Bobby is trying to kill her. The other survivors at the tower are in a panic, believing that Laura is infected, and wanting her dead.

After the Heroes gives some supplies to the church survivors, Sinamoi calls the Hero and informs them that Laura has died.

TriviaEdit

• Despite being mentioned by Sinamoi, Laura is nowhere to be found at the Lifeguard Tower. This maybe due to the exclusion of children from the game after a trailer was shown depicting a girl being attacked and getting infected . 
• Sinamoi specifies what the ill child needs in order to survive, however, there is no quest revolving around getting any of these supplies for Laura, and she will always die.
