"It's a Trap" is the ninth quest in the Ryder White's Campaign DLC in Dead Island.
Synopsis

Charon directs Ryder White to get the knockout gas from Cell Block C and put it on top of the elevator for the Heroes. On the way, the rebel prisoners open up all of the cells. The zombified convicts, including a few Thugs and two Rams, zero in on their target. Ryder takes a storeroom key, then using the key he takes the gas. Ryder then must mount the gas canister in the elevator vent system. After this, Ryder must return to the main control room to Charon.
In a cutscene, Ryder and Charon watch the Heroes get into the elevator. Ryder locks Charon in the control room. Charon says the vaccine only works in the first stages of the infection, and it's too late to save Ryder's wife, Emily White. Charon takes a hidden passkey and opens the control room gate.
TriviaEdit
- The name of the quest is a possible reference to a line in the film Return of the Jedi, in which Admiral Ackbar says "It's a trap!".
