The Hot Rod Mod is a new mod added in Patch 1.3. The mod can only be applied to a Machete or Tijuana Machete. The mod adds a Fire Effect to the weapon. ( it also works with a kukri )

Found in Moresby in front of the Police Station, on a desk, beside the fence.

• This mod changes the in-game appearance of all Machetes to the same. Even Kukris have the same model, despite being very different when unmodded.
