Ryan, the Berserker, was one of the four playable Heroes in the 2014 build of Dead Island 2.
Background[]
Little was revealed about Ryan, other than he was a former volunteer firefighter and his preferred weapon was a sledgehammer. He appeared briefly in the trailer, where he strikes down the jogger zombie and is annoyed by Max's decision to take the jogger's shoes.
Appearance[]
Ryan is a young to middle aged man with short blonde hair and a small beard. He wears a white tank top, yellow firefighter pants held by two black and green shoulder straps with no shoes. He also wears a silver cross necklace and white gloves.
Trivia[]
- Due to how little information on him was known, it's unknown if he is the same as Ryan who appears in the 2023 release of Dead Island 2. The 2014 incarnation of Ryan was an actual firefighter while the official version of Ryan is a stripper who has disguised himself as a firefighter.
- He seems to not be wearing any shoes. This idea is later used for Lola Konradt from the new Dead Island 2.
