Pierre is a survivor featured in Dead Island: Riptide.

Background[]
Pierre is merchant found at his Magasin in the Flooded jungle. He is known for being one of the few people who sell firearms before arriving in Henderson. The Heroes first meet him when they stumble across his shop just off the main road, not too far from Paradise Survival Camp. After killing the zombies, he asks the heroes to bring him petrol to keep his shop running, starting the side quest Fire Sale. However, upon receiving the fuel, he locks out the heroes after promising to sell them his goods at 50% off the original price and begins playing loud annoying music to drown out their protests. The heroes smoke him out by blocking off his chimneys, at which point he claims he was joking and gives the heroes a discount.
Appearance[]
Pierre is a young man with short brown hair and a clean shaven face. Unlike most of the island's inhabitants, his attire is more businessman-like. He wears a green diagonally striped collared shirt that is tucked in, brown flat-front trousers with a brown belt, and charcoal dress shoes. He also wears a leather cuff bracelet on his right arm and a gold necklace.

- Due to the fact that Pierre sells firearms so early in the game, one of the few to do so before Henderson, completing his quest is a must especially for those who chose Purna.
- Pierre, after being threatened, says that his goods will be "half the regular price". This is untrue, though only by a matter of degrees: the actual discount is 15% off of normal prices. No other merchant offers that level of discount without having to complete their associated Team Quests first.
- He may have been a businessman before the outbreak, due to his attire, the items he sells and his personality.
- Pierre is pessimistic, refusing to wish the Heroes luck, as he has already come to the conclusion that they're all going to die. He is also treacherous, as he goes back on his word to reward the Heroes and sell them weapons. He relents after they threaten him, however. Pierre ignores the fact that the music he constantly plays attracts the Infected en masse; in fact, this may even be why he plays it.

- The music that Pierre plays continuously after his quest is widely acknowledged by Dead Island players as one of the most irritating songs in any of the games.
