The Mindblowing Military Knife is a developer's craft weapon blueprint featured in Dead Island. This Developer's Craft must be unlocked via the coloured Skulls found across the game.
Overview[]
Like all other dev craft mods, the Mindblowing Military Knife is an extremely powerful weapon that has both upsides and downsides. This is one of the more usable dev craft weapons, capable of one shotting Walkers and Infected by blowing up their heads, and it can even deal heavy damage to a high health zombie such as a Thug when it criticals. It has a low stamina usage and a fast swing speed, though it's a poor choice for crowds of Zombies. Its downsides are many, however, the first of which is its exceedingly high crafting requirements of $10,000 Cash, a Battery and 5 Diamonds, the latter of which is extremely difficult to come across. It is also exceedingly high to maintain, costing several thousand to repair just a sliver of damage. Its base damage is very low, as the weapon does not scale with player level, leaving its force, damage and durability all very low, even when Xian Mei's skills are applied to the weapon.

- Like all dev craft weapons, it can't be found in the world and must be crafted at a workbench.
- Also like all the dev craft weapons, when crafted the weapon is of grey Item Rarity and capped at level 1.
- It has a repair cost of $11,672 from 0% durability, making it very costly to use all the time.
- It has a 100% chance (before skill bonuses) to cause zombies' heads to explode.
- It has the appearance of a Short-Circuit Mod.
