The Home Run is a variant of the Baseball Bat and a Legendary Weapon in Dead Island, rarely available from Metal chests or killed Zombies.
Overview[]
As a legendary weapon, it naturally features enhanced stats compared to a regular Baseball Bat, even one of the same level and rarity but unnamed. It has medium to high damage and high force, with decently high durability. This comes at a moderate stamina cost and swing speed, though it has good weapon reach. As a result, the weapon is excellent for taking out singular or larger groups of Walkers and can easily take on multiple Infected and kill them with ease. It can also take on some harder enemies such as Thugs due to its moderate weapon reach.

- Unlike the crafted Home Run, when this weapon is found, its level will vary depending upon the Hero's current level.
- Despite being a regular baseball bat, it has the appearance of a Metal Baseball Bat.
- The weapon's appearance remains unchanged when combined with the Saw Disc Axe Mod.
- The Home Run shares similar stats to the Bouncer's Pal, but is generally weaker.
- For some reason, the weapon was listed as compatible with several Riptide exclusive mods, however the weapon does not make an appearance in that game.
