The doors are locked tight, right, but I know who's got the key. Bob. Big guy, used to drink with him in the pub.
— Dwight, describing Bob.

Dwight Turner is a survivor featured in Dead Island. He is first met by the heroes when they visit the Overpass Camp, giving them the side quest Visit to the Pub, in which the Hero must find the mechanic, Bob, and get his keys so Dwight can unlock the warehouse at the camp. Once Dwight has the keys, he unlocks the building and offers the Hero a reward. Afterward, Dwight becomes a merchant where the Hero can purchase weapons and parts, and he remains in the warehouse for the rest of the game.

Appearance[]

Dwight is a middle aged man with receding black hair and a full beard and moustache. He wears a black sleeveless shirt, patterned dark green/yellow pants, white socks, and brown boots. He also wears a brown belt with some black pouches attached to it, a black backpack as well as a binoculars holder around his neck.

Bugs[]

  • After completing the side quest Visit to the Pub, Dwight should enter the workshop and become a merchant. However, it's possible that he'll just enter the workshop and remain there, unable to be interacted with anymore. Not even fast traveling to other areas, reloading the level, or restarting the game will change his status. A known method to force him to become a merchant is to simply walk (or drive) away from the Overpass Camp and return once the player has reached a determined distance.
