Stanley Garrison is a survivor featured in Dead Island. He is first found hiding in one of the poolside bar huts among the large pool area of the Hotel, apparently been chased in there by some zombies. While he seems somewhat intoxicated already, he claims that to become sober he needs more drink, some "hair of the dog that bit me". Likely having drunk the bar dry, he asks the Hero to search for more booze for him, initiating the side quest Out of Stock. The hero has to bring Stanley a total of 15 bottles of alcohol, starting first with 5 bottles, then another 5 before finishing with the last 5. Each time, he will give out an increased amount of cash. After the last 5 bottles, he will complain about feeling dizzy and close the door to throw up and presumably pass out, as he doesn't open the door again. Upon returning to the bar, it will be abandoned with Stanley nowhere to be found and the door wide open. It is unknown where Stanley went, but in his heavily drunken state he might've wandered off and was likely killed.
Appearance[]
Stanley is a middle aged man with short brown hair and a clean shaven face. Like most male survivors in the Resort, Stanley wears a pair of swimming trunks with no shirt or shoes. The trunks are white and green. He also wears a beaded necklace. In the Definitive Edition, he has stubble.
