Godless Entities is an easy difficulty side-quest given to the Hero by Frank in Dead Island.
Synopsis[]
The Hero is tasked with killing the zombies out the front of the Pump Station.
Walkthrough[]
- Talk to Frank to start the quest.
- He wants you to secure the area in front of the pump station to keep them safe inside.
- Exit the pump station and go through the large vehicle gate right in front of you. There's some Walkers out here. There'll be a couple of them milling around, while others will come alive off the floor to attack you.
- There's two strategies for this, other than just wading in and murdering them all like you've been doing up until this point.
- Method 1: Instead of exiting by the gate go around to the open entry to the south. Rush in and jump on the hood of the truck. Now they can be kicked to death safely, or if you go a bit higher with a long, two handed weapon like a Fire Axe or Sledgehammer, you can attack them from the roof.
- Method 2: Alternately approach the gates and attack the Walkers through them.
- If in multi-player, one player can drive the truck to run over the Walkers while another opens the gates. This is very long winded, but the quest is so easy it can spice it up, I suppose!
- This is a good situation for a Molotov Cocktail if you have one to waste.
- Once you're done, talk to Frank to finish the quest.
Notes[]
- Presumably the name of this quest refers to the fact that the zombies are an affront to God. Since Frank, like Mother Helen, is religious, these zombies are 'Godless Entities'.
