It's Never Too Late

It's Never Too Late is an easy difficulty main quest given to the Hero by John Sinamoi in Dead Island.

Synopsis[]

After supplying the Church, the Heroes must now supply the Lifeguard Tower.

After talking to Mother Helen, Sinamoi will start talking over the radio. This will start the quest.
Head back out the Church and back to Jin.
Use the truck door to travel to the Resort.
You'll be deposited at the City Tunnel outside the truck for some reason.
If you're quick, you can get into the truck before the burning Infected that spawn in the tunnel can reach you, however it's unlikely so the best course of action is to wait for the Infected to run at you and just kill them with a well timed melee swing.
Jin will automatically get in the truck, so drive up the road and back to the Lifeguard Tower. You should know the route by now.
Park the truck inside the red circle and get out.
Head up to the second floor of the Lifeguard Tower and talk to Sinamoi to finish the quest.

If the quest is ready to be started, or already in progress, and the player transitions to any other area, both the armored truck and Jin may disappear from the Church's parking lot. Fortunately, they can easily be found not too far away from that location. From the Church (looking outward), exit through the left gate and travel all across the cemetery until reaching a road at the other end. The road will be blocked by a bunch of wrecked cars, but the player can climb onto the rocks on the left and make it to the other side; then just interact with the gate to transition to the Resort area. Both the truck and Jin will spawn right next to the player once the area is entered, and then it will only be a matter to drive the truck back to the Lifeguard Tower in order to complete the mission.
- If one goes back to the Police Station after encountering this glitch (but before correcting it as mentioned above), they will see the armored truck sitting in the police station's parking lot, although this could be a usual truck display that exists in the area after a certain main storyline progress is made.
- This glitch/sequence break appears to be linked to the Six Feet Under quest. Apparently, if that quest has been completed, it will trigger the disappearance of the armored truck and Jin from the Church's parking lot.

This can be easily corrected by fast travelling to the City Tunnel in the Resort. Jin will be waiting with the truck there and you can carry on as normal.
