Tell Me Where It Hurts is a medium difficulty side quest given to the Hero by Mick Fler in Dead Island.

Synopsis[]

The Hero must find a bottle of painkillers and three bandages for Linda. They are told they should check infirmaries and ambulances.

Walkthrough[]

  • This is a very easy quest to complete.
  • Talk to Mick to start the quest.
  • He tells you that he needs painkillers and bandages to save Linda, who was hit several times by zombies while getting to the Lighthouse.
  • You'll likely have either one or the other already, either from when you broke into the infirmary at the Lifeguard Tower during Bloody Health Service!, or finding the ambulance in Life in the Bag. If you do, hand them over straight away and complete the quest.
  • If you haven't yet, what are you doing? Go complete them straight away, they're easy! You only need to complete Bloody Heath Service to get the items for this quest and it only takes about a minute to complete, so go complete it!
  • After completing the quest, grab the painkillers and bandage on the counter inside the infirmary and fast travel back to the Lighthouse to complete the quest.

Notes[]

  • The painkillers and bandages inside the Lifeguard Tower infirmary respawn, meaning you can collect them as much as you like or if you already collected them and sold them for cash .
  • The quest description states that the Hero must find a bottle of painkillers and three bandages for Linda. However, the Hero only actually has to bring one or the other. It is quite possible that they will already have the items before they visit the Lighthouse the first time and so can complete the mission immediately.
  • The Deo-Bomb is the most powerful area effect weapon able to be acquired this early in the game (i.e., Act I). In Act II and later, as the Hero increases in level, Molotov Cocktails will be less and less effective. As such Deo-Bombs should be saved up for this time. Deo-Bombs may be as powerful as a Grenade.
