Dreamtime is a medium difficulty continuous event given to the Hero by a native warrior in Dead Island.
Synopsis[]
The Hero must find 5 Oleander flowers and give them to the Warrior.
Walkthrough[]
- After killing the Infected Warrior in the arena during the main quest Man of Faith, one of the native warriors will become available to talk to. Talk to him to start the quest.
- He wants you to get Oleander flowers to help his fellow natives.
- It's easiest to find oleander in the Jungle and Sewers areas by searching the debris piles. The piles appear as a collection of leaves and plant matter on the ground. They can also be purchased occasionally from merchants.
- Once you have a surplus of them that you know you'll never use, return to the warrior and hand as many of them over as you can.
Notes[]
- This quest can be used as a level exploit using the dupe and/or trade glitch. The method is simple to follow and understand: dupe high price items, sell items, stockpile on Oleander from a merchant, hand in.
- This glitch has been removed in the later version of the game.
- This quest now only returns $1 and 600 XP (on the PC and Xbox 360 versions at least, unconfirmed on PS3) for the most recent game version as of July 2012. It used to be 1000 xp (and unknown cash).
- It is possible for the Warrior to overdose on the flowers and pass out, disabling the quest turn in until the player starts or joins a new game session.
