Brian is a survivor found in the River Village in the Mingende Jungle and is featured in Dead Island. He gives the Heroes the continuous quest Ashes of Humanity, in which the Hero must provide him with Canned Food to feed the hungry survivors of the River Village.

Brian is a middle aged man with short black hair and a clean shaven face. He wears a green t-shirt, blue and white camo cargo pants held by a light brown belt, white socks, brown boots, and black rimmed glasses. In the Definitive Edition, His shirt is white, his pants are green, and he no longer wears glasses
