The Blunt Speaker is a variant of the Baseball Bat and a Legendary weapon featured in Dead Island, rarely available from Metal chests or killed Zombies.
Overview[]
The weapon is most similar to a baseball bat in regards to its stats. The weapon has decently high force and durability, with a similar medium stamina drain to the baseball bat. It's also got decently high damage for a blunt melee weapon, and decent weapon handling with a medium swing speed. As such, it's a good all-rounder weapon, capable of taking on both single enemies such as Walkers or some of the harder enemies like Thugs. It can also make effective crowd control of groups of Walkers, and being a blunt weapon, it is excellent at crushing the heads of Infected for yields of Meat.
