Damien is a Survivor in Dead Island: Riptide. He is first encountered in a Henderson apartment by the Infested Basement Dead Zone, not far from the Old Town Cinema.
He is first met by the heroes when they adventure a short distance from the cinema, calling for help as he is surrounded by zombies that are crowded around his balcony. He has short-term memory and forgets what he is doing, though gives out the side quest Memories, where the heroes must acquire several different supplies. After each time they are handed over, he forgets more and more what they are doing and what he's doing, but eventually he remembers after the final time that he was building a weapon, handing over its blueprints and materials to the heroes. He gives no more quests and remains on the balcony when the heroes leave, but he has gone when they next return, leaving his fate ultimately unknown as he is never heard from again, but it's likely that he is alive somewhere.

Damien is a middle aged man with black hair and a full beard. He wears a dark blue short sleeve shirt, brown cargo shorts held by a black belt, and white sneakers. He also wears a single gold necklace and a black backpack.
