The Cleaver is a sharp melee weapon featured in Dead Island. It has high force and damage, but low durability. With this weapon, there is a higher chance of beheading zombies, which yields extra XP.

The Cleaver is very useful when handling 2–5 zombies, but the player will be needing the higher rarity varieties to do some real damage.
