He is found inside a hut, along with David and the corpse of Katie. He tells the Hero that Katie was his wife, and that she was killed by a man named Vargas, who is part of Afran's gang. He gives the Hero the side quest "Death Wish," in which the Hero must track down Vargas and kill him.
